teaser-snippet / beautiful-women power-rankings #4!

As it so happens, I've been blessed with several minutes to engage in ponderous musings regarding the nature of whatsoever and/or whosoever I presently find undeniably attractive. Rather than disregard old favorites, I find that my time is much better spent expounding on the new bright stars of the universe - on this, the 26th of February, 2004.

And so:

five fastidious phenoms of fecundity!

5Asia Argento.
Whether ye be a fan of Dario's work or not, on this there should be unanimity: Excellent genes, regrettable dialogue in Vin Diesel's Sylvester Stallone-pastiche, XXX. (piss-poor, even)

4Rhona Mitra.
Having appeared on several television shows, and exhibiting otherworldly aspects deriving in great proportion from both internal and external factors, one can verifiably concur with a fair degree of certainty the disproportiate volume of attractivity residing herein. See The Life of David Gale for less-than-opaque reference markers.

3Audie England.

To comic-film-genre-devotees what Kyra Phillips is to CNN junkies, this photographer/actress made a lasting impression as a living embodiment of all that is good with comic-book-loving females - those who go the extra mile to pursue their obsession, despite the attentions of negatively-developed, swollen, sequential-inebriates. Free Enterprise, indeed.

2Karen O.

The lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, I choose her simply due to the incandescence of the current single, Maps, receiving an inordinate amount of airplay - yet, like Seven Nation Army and Hey Ya! before it, standing up admirably under the invariable wear-and-tear of repeated sonic bombardment. The resonance, the spine sticking through her voice - this is a case where the music deftly creates a visual, and seems both ethereal and concrete.

1Audra Wolfmann & Dame Darcy

For hitting the "delete" button on my malaise, and providing irrefutable evidence of elegance and elan at this year's Alternative Press Expo. Bravo!
