othelladub's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- dare to be different! LOVES Uma in the second installment of Kill Bill. Mark Ruffalo's performance in You can count on me. The Samaire Armstrong (Anna from the OC) interview in this month's issue of Elle girl.
The Fan, with Robert Deniro, Wesley Snipes, Benicio Del Toro (and in smaller roles, Ellen Barkin, John Leguizamo, even Jack Black). Not the best movie, but quite an assemblage of talent. Its also strange in that it uses (to pace the action) both Rolling Stones & Nine Inch Nails songs.
Anyway, its on TNT. Again.
Probably a better movie to see would be the Darien Gap, a rather obscure film (a large portion of which I watched today on IFC). I'd recommend renting it, but its not listed on Blockbuster's website or on Amazon.com, so I'm doubting its available. It's not listed in Yahoo Movies. I noticed that it's playing again tomorrow on IFC, so that the best bet. IFC, or the Sundance channel, or some oddball cable channel out there. Keep your eyes peeled, though. Pretty interesting Sunday-afternoon fare. I found something from some photographer's website about it online.
The Darien Gap.
