JENNIFER BEALS MUST MAKE IT TO \"THE OC\"

the following is a transcript of an impassioned plea by a fan who shall remain nameless, begging the producers of "The OC" to procure a cameo appearance by the lovely Jennifer Beals

On the OC, they've never shown the character Summer's mother. They have shown her father, played admirably by Michael Nouri of 80's classic, Flashdance.

What better way to continue their tradition of nods to pop-culture references than by inserting Nouri's romantic interest in Flashdance, Ms. Beals herself? The episode would be rife with opportunities to spoof her former role as Alex, the welder, and there could always be subtle references to Michael Nouri's character having moved from Pittsburgh - that home of "the steeltown girl on a saturday night." Not to mention Rachel Bilson's resemblance to Jennifer Beals.

It would be awesome, man!!

Anyway, there's this site (www.tvgasm.com) reporting that Summer's mother/step-mother will be played next season by none other than DEMI MOORE.

Now, I'm a fan of Demi, and that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. But it wouldn't have the pure coolness of an appearance by Ms. JENNIFER BEALS. The opportunity to pair her again with her co-star Nouri, and have the "Summer" character make a nod to the "Alex" character of Flashdance is too much for them to overlook!!

Think of the potential of Bilson in leg-warmers, dancing up a storm!! Imagine Brody and Bilson eating lobster at a restaurant when her mother (BEALS) approaches!!

THIS MUST HAPPEN!!!!

JOSH SCHWARTZ, ALLEN HEINBERG!!! IF YOU'RE OUT THERE, I'M BEGGING YOU!!! GIVE JENNIFER BEALS A CHANCE TO TURN THIS DOWN!!! YOU'D HAVE THE COOLEST FUCKING EPISODE EVER, AND A LIFELONG COMMITTMENT FROM ME TO SUPPORT YOUR SHOW NO MATTER WHAT, FROM HERE ON OUT!!!

Demi is aight, but BEALS is just right!
